  This Dept has a history of employing criminals. They cover the crimes of their officers no matter who is hurt. Children are not safe in this city and racism is a live and well. There isn't a shred of honor or integrity in this dept.

  After going home after a party I was pulled over. The officer made up a reason that is not one that was not valid but as I was driving while black I did not want to lose my life. After the officer covered his face by shining light in my eyes so I couldn't see him he went on to say my car smelled like "unburned marijuana". So he felt the need to search my car. After a 15 mintue UNLAWFUL search in which he checked my trunk and glove compartment and the console of my car. He came back claiming he found some "seeds" that he wasn't going to touch them. Which is every bit of impossible , because there was no marijuana. But being the idiot that he was he did not bring the marijuana seeds out of my car. The issue that he pulled me over for was given a verbal warning and I was free to go home. This is racial profiling at its best I'm not afraid and will never be afraid. It was evident his intimidation tactics didn't work. The officer shinned the light in my eyes the whole duration of our unlawful stop so I was not able to see his name plate. But he has red hair blue eyes and he has tattoos on the upper part of his arms. They were of flames on arm had the numbers 3,5,6. The other had some type of wording with flames also . I will be taking further legal action against the police department of Red Oak.
